The writer was trying to promote Eastern suffisim with the story of Ella Rubinstein, The lady with  enthusiasm of book reading and passion of book review writing, Ella was mentally disturbed with different family and self-esteem problems.

Her daughter was angry upon her due to her concerns of marriage, her husband was cheating on her and she wasn't able to ask him about his affairs, then certainly she got novel of A.Aziz zehra  written on spiritual journey of love between Shams Tabraiz of Baghdad and Mulana Rumi of Konya.In this spiritual journey shams met with different personalities of different perspectives like bagger, innkeeper, prostitute,dervaish and many more, The best thing about this book is the spiritual rules of shams while guiding and meeting with different characters and collectively writer entitle his all rules as #forty_rules_of_love.while on other side Ella was comparing shams with a.aziz zehra and asking him for help on her personal issues, she was emailing her and taking interest in spiritual life of strange author.when shams met with Rumi and colored with spiritual touch of shams, the gossipmongers slander their friendship alot in last this became the reason of shams murder and Rumis poetry writing

The amalgam of old story of shams and modern story of Ella was truly a pleasure for reader and outstanding performance of writer for differentiaing both stories well. Here  I have one of my favorite rule that teaches me alot “The universe is one being.

Everything and everyone is interconnected through an invisible web of stories. Whether we are aware

of it or not, we are all in a silent conversation. Do no harm. Practice compassion. And do not gossip

behind anyone’s back—not even a seemingly innocent remark! The words that come out of our mouths

do not vanish but are perpetually stored in infinite space, and they will come back to us in due time.

One man’s pain will hurt us all. One man’s joy will make everyone smile,” he murmured. “This is what

one of the forty rules reminds us.”

All I will rate 3 out 5 and highly recommend this to novice readers.
